Does CPOMS participate with my insurance?
CPOMS participates with many insurance plans. The list is too lengthy to include here. Please call and discuss with a CPOMS Team Member. Be sure to have both your medical and dental insurance cards with you when you call so we can give you an accurate response. If you are not the subscriber, you’ll need the subscriber’s date of birth and, for some insurance, you’ll also need the subscriber’s Social Security number.
If you belong to one of the medical/dental insurance companies with which we participate we will bill covered services to them and wait for payment from the insurance. It is our expectation that you will pay your co-payment and/or visit charges as required by your insurance at the time of your appointment.
I don’t have insurance. Can I still be seen by CPOMS?
Yes, you can! We treat a number of patients who do not have insurance. If you are uninsured or have insurance coverage by a plan with which we do not participate, full payment is expected at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Some patients prefer to use CareCredit. CareCredit can help you pay for treatments and procedures that you don’t want to put on your personal credit cards or that your insurance doesn’t cover. CareCredit offers low minimum monthly payment options so you can get what you want, when you want it. With three simple steps, including an instant approval process, it’s easy to apply for CareCredit. After you’re approved, you’re free to use CareCredit for the services you choose.

Can I make payment arrangements with CPOMS?
The federal government has issued a number of new regulations which impact our relationship with you. As a result of these new regulations, CPOMS can no longer:
- Arrange installment payment plans
- Accept third-party credit card payments
- Accept third-party checks
- Accept any check with an address that does not match the address on your photo ID
- Accept only a PO Box as a mailing address.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
